ICOMIA have now published a report following the 8th session of the Human Element Training and Watchkeeping (HTW) held virtually from the 7th to 11th February 2022.

The key items of interest to our members discussed at the meeting are as follows:

• Seafarers' electronic certificates & draft amendments to the STCW Code and Convention
• Effectiveness of on-board training and mandatory sea service
• Safe operation of on-shore power supplies (OPS)
