James Brushwood

James joined British Marine in 2022 prior to that he worked at various marinas and boatyards around the New Forest area in various roles from managing marina operations to project managing refits in a small boatyard. Before his foray into the operations side of the marine world James was a professional boat bum running various racing yachts based out of the Solent.

At British Marine James works within the Technical Team to provide information, guidance and effective lobbying on environmental, and health and safety issues to meet members needs.

In his spare time James is a parent governor of a local church school and loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and two daughters gardening or making “stuff” for the garden out of old pallets.
